"How To Get To Sesame Street?"

Posted in

‘Get up from that TV set and go do your homework’ Sounds familiar?

That’s what parents keep shouting at their children. Television is seen as an antithesis to education but things changed once mavericks like Ralph Rogers and Cooney decided to integrate education and television giving birth to Children’s television workshop which have produced some of the very best educational programs for children and the show which really put ‘edu-tv’ on the map is Sesame Street.

Aishwarya and Abhishek had a fun time on Oprah Winfrey's show ( aired on September 28th). Aishwarya was looking gorgeous in her black and white "Sabyasachi" saree.  Oprah called Ash "the most beautiful woman in the world, with more than five billion fans and multi million dollar endorsement campaigns". Abhishek looked very composed throughout the show, Oprah said " Abhishek has done more than 40 films, which is even more than Tom Cruise".

Oprah asked the power couple about their marriage, family, Indian culture and their fan followings. Abhishek answered most of the questions in style adding a little humor to them, Aishwarya didn't say much. Sources say that "her giggles made up for it"... ( Watch the video)
