A well known name in the music industry, Samir has been the playback singer for numerous hindi films like Parampara, Jazbaat, Fauj and more recently Emotional Atyachar and Hang Up. Samir is from a family of gifted musicians. His is the son of Ravi Date, a renowned music composer and his uncle is Arun Date, a very famous Marathi singer.
