Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16. The first season of X-Factor India is judged by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The theme of the episode is Musical Hero Special,The show commences with Sonu Nigam remembering Late Mohd Rafi who died on 31st of July. He pays a tribute to the legendary Mohd Rafi with his performance on 'Main Wahi Wahi Baat'. Shreya Ghoshal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali also reveal about their inspiration for music to be Lata Mangeshkar. In this episode, contestants perform on the songs of their idols.
