B'Khush Recipe Contest 2015

Dear Readers,

This is the thrd year of  B'Khush's very own RECIPE CONTEST! 
 

***Who All Can Participate : ***

• If you live in North America
• If your prize can be delivered to an US postal address (if you are a winner)
• (Incase you are a winner ) and your prize can be delivered to a postal address in Kolkata, India ( The prize will be delivered only in August,2015)

This year's theme : "Something Baked  or Grilled - Savory or Sweet"

We will welcome recipes from around the world. So be creative...wear your chef's hat and start cooking!

Contest Date :  January 26th, 2015 - Feb 11th, 2015

Contest Rules :

• Interested participants will have to send in their recipes to bkhushmagazine@gmail.com
• The recipes should reach us by Feb 10th, 2015 
• The recipes should include a photo and also a short write up ( Including an introduction,ingredients list,and the process)
• All participants must have a Facebook profile, because the final voting will be done through Facebook.
• All participants are requested to "Like" the B'Khush page on Facebook and join our women's group B'Khush Women,for all announcements and updates.
• The top ten selected entries will be announced on  our Facebook page.

The judging criterion will be based on (0-5 points for each criterion)
 
a) Originality of the recipe
b) How uniquely it showcases the theme
c) Novelty of any technique used (bonus points)
d) Local and sustainability of the ingredients
e) how well written.
f) Food presentation and style
g) Photography

Judging starts on February 11, 2015
The judge will evaluate and select TEN recipes from the entries received.
The selected recipes  will be put up on the facebook page of B khush  and open to voting for the next 5 days
The Winner and the First and Second runners up will be announced  on Feb 20, 2015 based on the points they get from the judge plus the   number of 'likes' they get on Facebook.
