Hi Friends! Happy New Year!

I hope that the year started great for all of you. For me, yes it did! I had a great time in India with my family and friends and now I am back in Hong Kong, just in time to celebrate the Chinese New Year!

E-Mail Etiquette

Posted in

It is indeed the digital age where postal address has been replaced by e-mail ids at most places at home and work.  Whether the message is about a formal business deal or a simple festival greeting, emails can do it all.  Hence, there is absolutely no doubt that emails have become one of the most widespread means of communication.

Are you living a "WEEKEND LIFE"?

Posted in

Today morning as I was struggling to get out of the bed at 6 AM, the first thing which came to my mind was, “Wow! It’s Friday today!” The thought itself brought an involuntary smile on my face, and I woke up knowing that my suffering will come to an end in another 12 hours! I have the weekend in front of me and there was nothing else in this world which could take away that happiness.

A Word for the Real "Beauty"

Posted in

I opened my little eyes for the first time, and saw the most beautiful eyes, with drops of water in them, looking down at me. I kept looking at them. The mesmerizing eyes were looking at me with all the love in the world.

In a moment, I saw the drops fall down from the eyes, and rest upon a smile so gentle and warm, that I curled up in the warmth of her arms. That was the most beautiful smile! I didn’t want to be anywhere else at that time. Wrapped up in her arms, I felt warm, safe and happy.

The Magical Words

Posted in

It was 2 AM. And Nikita was tossing on her bed from one side to another. It was not new to her that she was not asleep at this time. On most situations she would either be reading a book or watching a movie. But today there was another reason for her insomnia. Her thoughts were keeping her awake. Definitely something was wrong!

The art of saying “NO”

Posted in

I heard my friend telling me yesterday, “I didn't really want to do go for the movie but I couldn't say no!” Some time back I remember her telling me, “I really wish I didn’t have to go to work this Saturday, to help a colleague with his pending reports.” And this kept on occurring from time to time! And I recognized what her problem was! She was not able to say the ‘forbidden’ word – NO!!

Where is God?

Posted in

“Where is God”, he asked,
And his mother gave a smile
“Sit down here”, she said
“I will tell you in a while!

Hidden from the mortal eyes
And unseen to the human sight
God dwells everywhere
In the form of a divine light.

He’s the gold of the golden rays
Which enter your room at dawn
He’s the fragrance of the flower
Which blooms everyday in your lawn.

He is in the humming of the bees
And in the songs of the birds
He is the music of our lives
Which can’t be expressed by words.

He’s there in the hot blazing deserts
And in the mountains, steep and high
